The year Wilmer graduated from university, his childhood friend and dog, Coal, passed away. Wilmer made a ring to preserve some of Coal's fur as a lasting tribute. Later, Wilmer shared this story on Reddit, and many users wanted to preserve memories of their furry families in the same way. Thus, Wilmer created LovePetMemorial, and that's how it came about.
